This shift brings unprecedented cybersecurity challenges as insurers migrate sensitive policyholder data to cloud platforms. The growing sophistication of cyber threats, including ransomware and phishing attacks, poses substantial risks to insurance providers. A comprehensive examination of security frameworks reveals the critical importance of multi-layered protection strategies; the article incorporates advanced technologies like AI and machine learning for threat detection. Integrating zero-trust architectures, robust governance policies and compliance monitoring has proven effective in enhancing security postures. As the industry evolves, emerging technologies and prevention-focused approaches reshape how insurers address cybersecurity challenges while maintaining operational efficiency and customer trust.
